About

I'm a bioinformatician completing a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Immunology at McGill University, where I study the active role of bacteriophages in the developing infant gut microbiome. My research spans anaerobic microbiology, viral metagenomics, and the scalable bioinformatics needed to make sense of it all.

Today, as Sequencing & Bioinformatics Lead at Qeen Biotechnologies, I'm leading the design and implementation of a dedicated genomics platform — establishing in-house sequencing capability and cloud computational infrastructure to support phage therapy clinical trials and product quality control.

Along the way I built OnePetri, a computer-vision mobile app that accelerates common bacteriophage plaque assays, and I'm a passionate teacher who has trained hundreds of students in sequencing and bioinformatics.
